Step 2
Pre qualification

You will be contacted by an experienced mortgage adviser who will discuss your situation in more detail. Then book an appointment to complete a Mortgage Fact Find form and to collect original documents. You will also be told what documents you will need to provide us in order to process with your application

Step 3

Following their research, your adviser will present their recommendations tailored to your specific needs including details of rates and any associated fees that may apply. Once you are happy with the recommendations, your adviser can request an agreement in principle form the lender to give you the reassurances.

Step 4

When ready to proceed, your adviser will submit the full application. At this stage, you must pay valuation fee. Once submitted your application and supporting documents will be assessed by an underwriter appointed by the Lender.

Step 5

Lender will instruct the valuation and once satisfactory valuation report is received form the surveyor the application will be going for the final checks.

Step 6
Mortgage Offer

Once the lender is satisfied that the property offers suitable security and they are happy with the documentation provided, the formal mortgage offer will be issued. This confirms their willingness to lend. A copy of this will also be sent directly to the acting solicitor.

Step 7

Now you have the reassurance that your mortgage is formally approved, it is very important that you arrange adequate mortgage protection cover. Your adviser will discuss your possible insurance needs and make any recommendations and arrangements for you.

Step 8

Once you solicitor has finalised the necessary legal matters and all parties are ready, you can arrange a suitable date for completion.
